April Showers: The Eclipses

Lunar Eclipse in Libra, April 15

With a Lunar Eclipse there's a chapter in our lives that's about to come to a close or completion. With this eclipse in Libra, relationships will be at the forefront. For some of us, this may mean taking the next step in a partnership or choosing to do away with one all together. The big theme here will be around balance and reciprocation, as Libra is the sign of The Scales.

Solar Eclipse in Taurus, April 29

If Lunar Eclipses represent endings or completion, then Solar Eclipses represent beginnings and fresh starts. Through Taurus this comes by way of physical comfort/health, as Taurus represents an earthy, palpable kind of mojo. Taurus wants to give you something you can hold on to like cold, hard cash or a sound body. Resources will be a theme here; taking advantage of opportunities to build and maintain/protect them are the focus.

Keep in mind that emotions will be on high during this month. The days surrounding the eclipses tend to bring anxious energy. Take time to ground yourself in activities you enjoy, with people you enjoy, to take some of the edge off.

Lastly, on the eclipses--it's interesting to note that they both occur in signs represented by Venus, the planet of love and wealth. It seems the Universe wants to highlight our relationship to our own pleasure and self-worth. Is it healthy? Are we actively participating in fulfilling our desires or passively standing by? What would it take for each of us to create a pleasurable life? How many of us truly feel we deserve one? These are just a few questions to get your brains stirring, of course, knowing where the eclipses will transit your chart will help too. Those with major planets or angles in Libra, Aries, Scorpio, or Taurus should pay extra special attention.

P.S. You can use these major events to catapult yourself forward. How? Get my Eclipse Reading.

Venus in Pisces: Bewitched

Happy Venus in Pisces! (April 5-May 2) Creativity, fantasy, and allure abound while the planet of love makes her stop here. Will we be awash in true love or a thinly veiled guise of it? Keep intuition at the ready.

To celebrate, here's an excerpt from my Love, Sex, and Astrology guide describing Pisces Venus natives...

"Venus in Pisces:

This attributes of this Venus may very well be what mermaids are made of...and she pulls her bedmates in like one too. She's bewitching, enchanting--built with a compassionate nature and an uncanny sixth sense. She gets off on creating tailor made romantic liaisons that blur the lines of time and space. Easily addictive. Boys with this Venus placement are drawn to Piscean-like women who'll bring them a higher love."

New Moon in Aries: Fire in the Belly

Happy New Moon in #Aries! What would you like to create/initiate? How do you separate yourself from the pack? Do you recognize how awesome you really are?

Aries is a leader, a motivator and a fierce warrior. As a Fire sign and the "firstborn" of the zodiac, Aries' power rests in its bold, assertive, and adventurous approach to life. Aries doesn't wait for the okay to take action. Aries IS the action; first row, front and center. Under this juicy, fertile energy of the new moon we are called to harness this power in the name of our own success and progress. We are called to show up for ourselves, to stand up for ourselves, to employ the courage needed to create the kind of life that we want.

However, with this new moon joining up with Uranus in Aries and forming a tense aspect to Jupiter in Cancer and Pluto in Capricorn, we will be reminded that true progress isn't won without facing our fears (Pluto), venturing outside of what we know (Jupiter) and doing the unexpected (Uranus). Since running themes are a major component to astrology, this moon gives us a preview of the kind of themes we will be dealing with in April due to the upcoming eclipses and Grand Cardinal Cross (an uneasy relationship between four planets). Those themes are change, upheaval, and transformation.

Still, with Aries in the mix, the Universe will only provide the fuel necessary to feed the fire  in our bellies.

Full Moon in Virgo: Get Sh*t Done

Happy Full Moon in Virgo! Full Moons represent the culmination of something already in the works. In Virgo, it's all about tying up the loose ends, getting down to the details and fine tuning a system. How's that health routine working for you? That diet? Is that budget saving you money? Have you tackled that cleaning/organizing project? What about that writing assignment? Ooh, baby! Today, we celebrate getting sh*t done. Check off that to-do list like a boss!

Full Moon in Cancer: Soul Food

The Full Moon in ‪#‎Cancer‬ this evening highlights the quality of our heart space. What have we been filling it with lately? Is it nourishing? Does it build strong bones and character? Does it make us feel good? As the sign that represents home and hearth, family, and tradition; Cancer is the commissioner of soul food, literally and figuratively speaking. Under this moon is a call to make space for and celebrate what feeds you. Eat up.

New Moon in Capricorn: Make It Work

New Moon in #Capricorn on January 1st to kick off the New Year. #Capricorn is the sign associated with long term plans and goals, financial security, ambition, and structure. What are your 2014 resolutions? May they manifest under the blessings of this New Moon. And thank you all for your support and love throughout 2013. Have a happy, prosperous New Year! Xoxo

New Moon in Sagittarius: Light In the Shadow

I think many of my fellow Sagittarians will agree with me when I say that 2013 has largely been an introspective and emotionally "heavy" year for us. Many of us have found ourselves thrust into situations that demanded a serious investment of faith, patience, and in some cases, physical strength. Whatever challenges we may have brushed off with a raucous gathering of 90-11 friends or some other show of impulse/distraction have had to be met with long periods of solitude, meditation, tears, and the ability to put "no" in our otherwise exaggerated vocabularies. Recently, I joked to a Pisces friend that I've turned into a Scorpio (she laughed in agreement). No, we Sagittarians have not felt like our usual jovial, happy-go-lucky selves. The Universe has been asking that we try something different.

And this is not to say that those of us born under the influence of Sagittarius never experience pain or sadness. Much to the contrary of standard astrology, we do. We just make a conscious effort not to linger in said sadness. We recognize that at some point, unhappiness becomes a choice and as such, there are far too many roads to travel towards fulfillment to get stuck on just one. This is the Sagittarian way, and this evening's New Moon in Sagittarius aims to illuminate those roads, the paths on which we can tailor make our journey based on our own personal truths--the sum parts of ourselves that refuse to be denied, restricted, tamed, or hidden. What do you undeniably hold in your heart that's sorely in need of expression? What part of you needs to be set free?

This New Moon will not only spur a fresh, new cycle for Sagittarians but for anyone in need of some magic to break through whatever walls that have held them back. New Moons are gifts; like custom tailored reset buttons from the Cosmos that give us extra sticking power needed to successfully begin a new endeavor, relationship, journey, lifestyle, etc. Many of us, and not just Sagittarians, may be feeling that we've done enough of our bid in the shadows...we've sorted, sifted, and purged through enough of our shit. We're ready to step back into the light. Today, we get our chance.

Sagittarius Season: Shake Off Your Slumber

The sun moved into fiery Sagittarius on November 22nd, giving us just the right amount of snap, crackle, and pop we need to kick off the holidays. The intensity of Scorpio season may have had some of us feeling unusually tired or emotionally spent over the last month but fun loving Sag asks that we take time out to fill our spirits with some cheer. Big, hearty laughs and spontaneity are what the doctor ordered so here's a few tips below on how to get the most out of the Season of the Centaur. This is your month to lighten up.

Things to do now:
♐️ Sagittarius loves a party so rally up a few friends and get your karaoke-dance-game-holiday-special occasion celebration on.

♐️ Travel (especially to somewhere you've never been). Sagittarius is the sign that rules travel/ expansion. Feed your brain/spirit with a vacay.

♐️ Take a class/teach a class. Education is a big deal to Sag because what we learn and share with others, opens up a world of opportunity.

♐️ Honor your truth. Sagittarius never skimps on truth or freedom. So, be direct, follow your heart, and don't take no for an answer.

♐️ Do something new. Sagittarius knows boredom is a sure fire way to kill the soul so get out and get free ( for tips see above).

Sagittarius season ends December 21st.

Mercury Retrograde: Let's Take Some Time and Figure It Out

createherstock-another-day-neosha-gardner-4.jpg

Since another Mercury retrograde is nearly upon us, I got to thinking that it would be a good idea to dedicate a blog post defining what Merc retro really means, as I imagine that if you're a bit out of the astro loop, hearing people (namely astrologers) talk about it can be kind of confusing.

About 3-4 times a year, Mercury--the planet that has rulership over communication and correspondence in astrology--goes "backwards" or retrograde for three weeks at a time. Now because of Mercury's correlation with writing, reading, speaking, thinking, travel (and vehicles), we'll find that doing these kinds of things during a retrograde period gets trickier and more difficult to do than in a non-retro period. It's during these times where:

  •  Messages or words are more likely to be misconstrued or taken out of context
  •  Emails, letters, text messages, etc. either get lost or disappear entirely
  •  Event and travel plans hit all kinds of delays or get cancelled
  • Machines like computers, cell phones, or cars break down and need repair or replacement
  • Contracts or agreements get broken or renegotiated, people go back on their word
  • People from our past (like ex lovers) seemingly pop up out of the blue

Okay, so now that we have a sense about what happens during a Mercury retrograde, let's discuss why...

We live in a world of movement and as such, time slows down for no one.  With all of this constant forward momentum, it can be tough sometimes to determine if the direction that we're moving in is the best one. This is where retrogrades come in. They act a little like time machines, helping us to go back and see where we've might have missed important information necessary for our progress and evolution. The goal is then to use the clues we've discovered to inform our future decision making process.

And since astrology is a system based on a the interpretation of symbols, I find that keywords help to drive home a point that a planet is "making." So, for Merc retro here's a list of keywords to consider to help keep frustration levels to a minimum:

Rest. Review. Repeat. Rethink. Re-plan. Renegotiate. Revisit. Repair. Reserve. Research. Re-read. Rewrite. Relaunch. Restructure. Remember. Reflect.

One last note: as you've probably figured out by now, Merc retro is not the time for beginning anything (or buying a gadget) that is brand spanking new. If anything new is started under the retrograde, we'll often be sorry about it later and feeling like we need to change our mind. If possible, wait for after the retrograde period  to act on any major idea or endeavor when clear thinking is better favored. Get it? Got it? Good.

October Scope 2013

It's Libra Season! Happy Birthday to the ladies and gents ( Libra moons and risings included) who teach the rest of us how to keep it classy. During Libra season (September 23rd to October 22nd) the emphasis is on harmony and beauty. How do we effectively balance our needs with the needs of others? Can we meet halfway? While we're at it, let's gussy ourselves up and hit the town in style. Rub shoulders. Crack the champagne. Galleries and galas. It's amor, darlings. Can you see it?

But wait! Is there someone trying to pull one over on us or keeping secrets we're not privy to? Or perhaps it's we who know all and are waiting for just the right moment to unleash our scathing tell-all? Communication planet Mercury has left the niceties of Libra for the deep and choppy waters (read: covert ops) of Scorpio, where it will be from now until December 4th.

Not much for idle chit-chat and small talk, Mercury in Scorpio aims for meatier, weightier, emotionally charged subjects that most would consider impolite or inappropriate to discuss. Mercury in Scorpio needs to bring the ugly things to the surface in order for us to acknowledge their presence and heal whatever wounds such ugliness may have caused. At this time, we may find that we hear or see things that we don't want...but must. This will be especially true when Mercury goes retrograde from Oct. 21st to Nov 9th when we will be asked to review, review, review! Mercury retrogrades are perfect for rethinking, reexamining, redoing, and renegotiating any prior agreements, commitments, projects or plans. Mercury retrogrades, however, are not perfect for starting anything new. For more info on how to navigate a Mercury Retrograde read my latest post.

On October 4th, we get a New Moon in Libra. Since Libra is associated with Venus, this New Moon will give us the opportunity to better set and execute intentions around establishing new relationships or finding love, improving existing relationships, and fattening our wallets. If there's an idea, plan, hope or wish that you've had around either, the Universe sends us some extra mojo to make it happen. Note that this moon will be in a tense connection with Uranus and Pluto which suggests that the success of our new endeavor will depend on how we currently see ourselves. We may ask do we have the courage, smarts, looks, or resources to pull it off? The answer of course, is yes, if we're willing to confront our fears and step out of our comfort zone.

On October 8th, we get a little reprieve from all of this emotional work when Venus steps out of Scorpio and into Sagittarius. Often billed as the life of the party Sagittarius pushes us to explore and indulge in anything that uplifts us. Just make sure to keep an eye on that purse or wallet as Venus in Sagittarius tends to overdo, overspend, overestimate...Have fun, take a risk but try not to literally go for broke. Remembering this advice will be especially important when Mars moves into Virgo on October 16th. Priding itself on discipline, usefulness, and details Mars in Virgo acts as a bit of an antithesis to Venus in Sagittarius, asking us to exercise the power of discernment when going after something we want. Venus in Sagittarius wants it all because she thinks bigger or more is better. Mars in Virgo asks first, is it necessary or is it useful? Mars in Virgo doesn't want to waste energy or time. As we all know of course, time is money.

Last but not least, eclipse season is upon us. On October 18th there will be an eclipse in Aries ready to shake, rattle and roll us up. Im kidding...sort of. Eclipses are potent, jarring, and at times largely overwhelming. Eclipses aim to wake us up from any self imposed slumber. If we've been feeling stuck or have been trying to hold on to something we no longer should, eclipses turn up the heat on us to get us to move. Because of their nature, eclipses can sometimes trigger events that are seemingly unfortunate or chaotic. Emotions are always on high around an eclipse. This is why it's important to engage in something (or be around people) that makes you feel grounded. This will help to avoid making any snap decisions or becoming (over)reactive.

Eclipses on the Aries/Libra axis always have to do with some sort of relationship, the paradigm of Me vs. We. Though eclipses affect us all differently, I believe the collective message of this eclipse will be around self-expression. Are we living authentically? Fearlessly? When we tell people "just be yourself" do we follow our own advice? Or, are we afraid to be who we really are because we fear judgement and ridicule? One thing to know is that Aries doesn't abide by anyone else's rules save its own. Aries lives by its own agenda. So Aries asks where in your life can you stand to be more badass? Where in your life do you need a little more...you?

Full Moon = Endings and Beginnings...

Happy Full Moon! Today's full moon is brought to you by Aquarius, the sign of innovation and humanitarianism. Full Moons are a culmination of events already set into motion. Ideas and actions that have worked to benefit society at large will be the theme of the day. How have you made your corner of the world brighter for yourself and others? Was it a cooked meal? Advice given? A show of support or act of charity? Celebrate that today. (And please feel free to share your good deeds with me so I can share your amazing-ness with my followers on Facebook and Twitter! Let's give people good news for a change.)

On August 16th, Venus, the planet of relationship and wealth moved in to her airy home of Libra. The power of  partnership takes the forefront in the areas love and money. Often a partner (whether romantic or business) will bring to the table the things that we lack and vice versa, helping us to thrive as part of a super union, taking on the world with superhuman strength and witnessing its fullness through the eyes of another (I'm channeling Deepak Chopra out here, and yes he is a Libra. Lol!). Keep in mind that 'reciprocation' will be the key word during this phase.

Around August 25th, Venus gets some friction from Jupiter, Uranus, and Pluto. The age old battle of What We Want vs. What We Need may come up for another round at this time. The question will be whether we can find a happy medium between desire and necessity in a way that is mutually supportive as Libra is all about harmony and balance. We may need to re-evaluate our  personal value system to get the answer.

On August 23rd the Sun and Mercury move to earthy Virgo, followed by a New Moon on September 5th. As the sign of health, service, and routine, planets in Virgo will be helping us to get out of vacation/party mode and back into the groove of handling business. The Sun and Mercury will be in perfect angle to begin laying the groundwork for big money moves, presentations, and launches. Just remember to craft your message/plans with an editor's eye. Virgo is a stickler for detail and budgets! To push things along, Mars moves out of watery Cancer into fiery Leo; a much better fit for the action-oriented planet. We'll have Mars in Leo until mid-October.

However, don't forget to schedule in some time to nourish and care for your body. Many of us don't allow room for self-care in our daily routines because we feel we either lack the motivation or time to do so, but in the end we pay greatly for it. Virgo says to make the time for self-care as a healthy body will be what saves you from that burned out, stressed out feeling (as well as illness) when the everyday hustle and bustle hits fever pitch.

If you need help getting organized, staying fit or on schedule use the New Moon in Virgo to help you set and meet these goals. Also, check out tips from professional organizer Amy Neiman of A Simplified Life (amyneiman.com) and certified fitness coach Suraiyah Ortiz (suraiyahfitness.blogspot.com) for help with staying on track. The Sun and Mercury will be traveling together until September 9th when Mercury moves into Libra, followed by the Sun on September 22nd.

Oh and last but not least: I have re-branded! Breadth and Sol Astrology is now My Life Created! All posts, updates, and emails going forward will be via mylifecreated.com. The website revamp was long overdue and I feel my new name speaks more toward the kind of work that I am doing, which is essentially to help beautiful people like you create the life they want. A Twelfth House Kind of Summer

It's been a little while (nearly two months, actually) since I've updated breadthandsol.com with my usual posts on upcoming astrological trends. Thanks to a bevy of planets in Water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces) as well as the flurry of planetary activity in my 12th House (Pisces' house) of spirituality, endings, retreat, dreams, and sleep....I have been allowing myself some much needed time for self-care (borrowing from the 6th House of health and routine--opposite the 12th), reflection, and dreaming. Carving out such time has actually enabled me to engage in some pretty cool stuff behind the scenes--one of which I will be unveiling towards the end of the summer (Yay!). The rest of the stuff, I'm keeping to myself. Ha ha! The 12th House is a private one after all.

Anyway, if you've been looking for my posts, I've been making use of my Facebook and Twitter feeds with updates and commentary of the short and sweet variety--still useful, so login and let's converse. You can find the links to both by clicking on the icons on the top left of this page (make sure to follow me on Instagram too!).

In the meantime, I am still providing one-on-one consultations. Email me at mecca@breadthandsol.com for the scoop on rates and services. And on September 6th, I'll be in Washington, DC at the famed Secret Pleasures (www.secretpleasuresboutique.com) talking love, sex, and astrology. Visit their website for more info...or click here: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/420461 I just want to say how excited I am to have been presented with the opportunity to take my show on the road. I'm really looking forward to my DC debut. Spread the word if you or anyone you know lives in the DMV area. Then remember to buy your ticket. C'mon, we'll have a blast!

(For my NYC people, I'll be doing another workshop soon. More on that later though.)

Ok. So that's it (for now). Remember to check my social media pages for for quick updates and insight; then stay tuned for my unveiling--done for you all in the name of love and prosperity (6th House of service).

Until then, take a cue from the 12th and take care to give your body/soul what it needs, when it needs it. We've still got so much life to live and we can't do it running on a tank half empty.

Mercury in Gemini: Two Sides of the Same Story

When I think about Gemini in the context of the human collective, I see Gemini as a representative of all of of our human contradiction; those parts of us that show up saying one thing yet doing something totally different simply because we can. To Gemini, the world is just too big. There are too many options; too many interests and tastes to tie itself to only one.  As a matter of fact, Gemini asks why should we have only one? Forty is just as good, if not better. In fact, in the area of my chart where Gemini sits, I am reminded of how this energy shows up in my daily life through the diversity of the people I attract and find myself attracted to, people who in their own right are diversified, multifaceted beings coming from various walks of life, cultures, and schools of thought. Also, it's no surprise, given Gemini's rulership by Mercury (the communication planet) that many of these people are writers, journalists, filmmakers, radio and television personalities, public relations specialists, event planners, etc. These are the people who make a living on connecting us to the many different pieces of our world.

Photo courtesy of New Image Art. "Twin" by HUSH

As an air sign, its Gemini's job to serve as a conduit, a connector of people and information. Gemini grabs what's out there and then brings it home to share. However, the caveat for Gem is when it becomes too scattered or superficial to commit to something that lasts--after all this isn't Taurus we're discussing. Mercury's pass through its home sign of Gemini is going to work to bring this message of curiosity and contradiction home to us. Where Gemini sits in your own chart is the place to look for cues and clues. Mercury is going to present you with fresh options and opportunities to grow beyond what you know, but with tension coming from Neptune, Pluto, and Saturn (and perhaps configurations in your own chart) we'll be asked to base our choices on depth of perception for a shot at something with real long term reward. This time, who AND what you know will matter.

Venus In Taurus: Let Love Linger

Planet Venus moved into her earthy home sign of Taurus where she will stay until May 9th. Since Venus is responsible for attracting and keeping sacred all that we love and hold dear, we may find that the key to happiness for the moment lies in our ability to slow down, spend time in our bodies (as opposed to solely in our heads), and be present to our senses—present to the here and now. If the spark and hustle of Aries kept us up and at 'em; jumping at every new opportunity that presented itself then the energy of Taurus calls us to chill and get focused. Venus in Taurus wants us to be fine and secure.

In addition to physical well-being, financial health also factors into Taurus' predilection for material security and at this time we may also find that activities or initiatives begun under this transit carry an energy of self-preservation. We aim to maintain and increase what we have (here on my end, I've made a date to see an insurance agent.) Financial and relationship issues highlighted now can be remedied by getting clear about what we truly want and putting a plan in place to get it. After all, Taurus is an earth sign and earth reaches its goals by way of a methodical approach--unlike the shoot first, ask later approach of fire sign Aries.

As Venus is also connected to self-esteem, we are asked to let go of the self-worth saboteurs that have kept us from fulfilling our hearts' desires. For some of us, love (as well as money) seems fleeting; like we never have enough of it—in quantity or quality. Venus in Taurus asks: what is true security? How do we get what we want and make it last? For starters, we may have to change—a concept that Taurus, being a Fixed sign, isn’t so willing to do. However, what Taurus WILL DO is work--and many of us know that if we want something badly enough that we must put in the effort it takes to obtain it. Are we willing to shift our perspective, change our habits, and incorporate a few new tools to get that something we’ve been thirsting for? Let the thought linger for a sec.

This song "Luxurious" by Gwen Stefani totally speaks to me (and this transit):

SPECIAL ON READINGS!

Eclipses affect us all differently depending on the time we were born and our current circumstances, if you’d like to know exactly how this eclipse will affect you and how to best handle this energy, I’m providing eclipse specials--$40 for 30 minutes—available from now until 6/1.

Careful planning + intention = Success.

Aries Season: Ball So Hard

Lots happening in the Cosmos this week. On March 20th the Sun moves into Aries (joining Mars) to officially kick off Aries season (March 20-April 19) Over here in the Northern Hemisphere, Aries season coincides with the vernal equinox and who better to usher in the fresh, excitable energy of spring than this fiery sign? Many of us will likely be looking forward to this bubble-pop-electric kind of time after being submerged in the hazy and emotional energy of Pisces over the last month.

With the Sun, Mars, and Uranus (joined eventually by Venus and Mercury) all synching up in the sign represented by The Warrior (i.e. Mars), spring fever will hit fast and fierce. The best way to channel this power will be to begin new projects or activities that may have been put on the back burner over the winter.  If a lack of confidence has been getting in your way, this Martian energy could help you adopt a take no prisoners attitude. Just make sure to watch out for flaring tempers. Aries energy tends to get us all a little keyed up (Hulk Smash Mode, actually). Take any pent up energy to a high impact fitness class. Your body and soul will thank you for it.

Adding to the cray cray will be the full moon in Libra on March 27th. Full Moons tend to represent endings and with this moon making tense aspects to Mars, Pluto and Uranus (this would be akin to the OPPOSITE of a peace talk...like if planets talked...but you get the idea) many of us can expect abrupt shifts in finances or partnerships (the areas ruled by Libra/Venus) that can send us into a tailspin. The key to keeping our wits and our cool will be to remember that whatever the Universe takes away, it returns to us twofold ( in a bigger and better model). Don't be afraid to embrace change, babies. Aries energy is all about embodying courage. So just get out and do it (responsibly, of course).

New Moon in Pisces: Feeding Spirit

Happy New Moon in Pisces!

As it goes in astrology, New Moons are an auspicious occasion for setting intentions to manifest something wonderful. With today's New Moon occurring in the dreamy, watery energy of Pisces,  we can produce the best results by focusing our desires on creating a space for more creativity and spiritual centeredness in our everyday lives. As many of us have witnessed or experienced firsthand, there is much pain and suffering in the world. However, the truth of Pisces is that while things sometimes fall apart around us, many times beyond our control, we preserve and buoy ourselves through a trust and embodiment of all that is still good (faith + intuition +compassion+ unabashed creativity). In Pisces, we go with the flow instead of resisting or control freaking. Here, we take simplicity as our mantra and indulge in anything that nourishes the soul.

While we still have so many planets in water signs (plus Mercury Retrograde) many of us may be feeling sluggish or overwhelmed. Much of this may be a side effect of trying to do too much during a time (Pisces Season) when we should be unplugging, resting, and replenishing. This is a perfect time to seek out the healers, those gifted with the powers to calm and strengthen the mind, body, and spirit. Aries season will be upon us soon and with the fiery energy that the time of The Warrior will bring, we will need all the strength we have to keep up with our daily demands. Consider this New Moon a special gift from the Universe to (finally) take care of the tender parts of you and act on inspiration. Then watch what magic unfolds for you over the next six months.

If you would like a custom tailored and detailed report on what will be developing for you over the coming months, contact me to set up a reading. No reason to guess or (obsess) about what's happening when you can know right now (and be prepared!)

Saturn Retrograde In Scorpio: Clean House or Die

Saturn begins its five month retrograde in Scorpio today and finishes up on July 8th. Retrograde periods always signify a time to review what we've done so far. With Saturn it's a period of checks and balances. What have we accomplished? What remains on the to-do list? Since we're talking Scorpio, Saturn wants us to get to those items on our list that we've  been putting off forever because we've been too busy bullshitting. Is it fear that holds us back? Complacency? The negative people that we just can't seem to let go?

Now is the time to take stock of whatever or whomever it is that may be keeping us from claiming our empires, our glory. It's time for spring cleaning. Saturn asks us to get those dust bunnies from under the bed and the cobwebs in the corner...those places where we don't always like to look (emotional baggage, anyone?). To make things interesting, the Universe has five heavenly bodies in Pisces over the next month which includes Mercury's retrograde  that will make it seem like we're literally trying to run track through a swimming pool.

However, the key to taking our next big step forward lies in our ability to tend to those unseen parts of ourselves (another watery reference!); those tender parts of us, those SOULFUL parts In There. In There is where intuition, creativity, and security abide. Getting comfortable In There is how we learn to make the most of what's Out Here. Saturn knows that building an empire, a fortress (read: material security), requires a strong foundation--built from the inside out.

How will we fortify ourselves so that we can carry on to the level ? What part of us can use a little restructuring?

Clean house and keep only what you need.
