Hello, there! You might have come to this page looking for the monthly horoscopes. In order to redirect some of my attention to other things that I have cooking behind the scenes - like my new book (which will be dropping in August 2021), I’ve decided to step back from the monthlies for the time being. Though I do leave you in good hands with a crazy talented up-and-coming astrologer - Six. You can find Six’s monthly horoscopes on Bustle.

I’ll still be doing the daily horoscopes for Bustle as scheduled.

Though if you haven’t checked out my horoscopes for the year, head over to Tarot.com and read my Yearly Horoscopes for 2021 as well as my Love Horoscopes for 2021.

Here’s to good and necessary changes for the new year!

The year started off with a bang and it's coming to a close with one, too. That's because of a game-changing Solar Eclipse in philosophical and freedom-loving Sagittarius on Dec. 14. The goal of this eclipse is to help us break free of the need to know it all, the need to be right, and the need to indulge every selfish whim. That said, we can expect this eclipse to show us where we need to be more thoughtful of others, make peace with uncertainty, and where need to stand up in support of justice, fairness, and ethics.

We can also expect the themes of community, equality, and doing what's right to be the primary focus this month, as we're called to think globally and act locally going forward.

This month, we're called to focus less on our egos and more on the ways that we can show up for others and do our part to make the world a better place for everyone. The month opens with a super touchy full moon in aggressive Aries (Oct. 1), which could cause tempers to flare. However, this full moon pushes us to put petty arguments aside and seek out ways that we can contribute to the greater good. Come Oct. 2, love planet Venus moves into thoughtful and devoted Virgo, which encourages us to be of help or service to others and to do what we can to bring our best selves to our relationships. For some of us, Venus in Virgo will ask that we raise our relationship standards.

By Oct. 4, power-hungry Pluto ends its five-month retrograde in tough Capricorn, helping us to initiate a rebirth somewhere in our lives where things may feel dead or we've suffered a loss. Though we're not quite done with the retrogrades yet, as chatty Mercury goes retrograde in laser-focused Scorpio on Oct. 13 until Oct. 27, when Mercury dips back into fair-minded Libra. As with any Mercury retrograde it's best to double check information and travel plans, but with Mercury in Scorpio, we may need to admit a truth we've been avoiding and avoid spreading gossip. With Mercury retrograde in Libra, we may need to make amends with people we've wronged or renegotiate contracts and agreements.

On the 16th, a new moon in Libra asks us not only to envision a more optimistic future but to band together in working toward that future. That sentiment continues when Venus moves home to Libra on Oct. 27. With Venus in Libra, equality and justice are the only currencies that matter. On the 31st, we end the month with an full moon in strong-willed Taurus, which asks us to expect the unexpected and be open to change.

The month opens with an electric Full Moon in unconventional and innovative Aquarius on August 3, which could bring a few shocks or surprises our way, particularly where relationships or friendships are concerned. The best way we can harness this full moon's power is by being open to the unexpected and doing what we can to break social norms or rules that foster injustice and inequality. With communicative Mercury moving to bold and passionate Leo on August 4, it's time to speak loud and proud about the things we're most passionate about. Confidence and creativity are key to making connections with others and getting our ideas out. Brainstorming sessions and art related projects could be golden now.

Come August 7, we're called to drop out of our heads and down into our hearts as love planet Venus finally leaves curious Gemini for tenderhearted Cancer. With Venus in Cancer, we'll find peace, pleasure, and even a little romance too, when we consider and care for the feelings of others in addition to honoring our need for nourishment and affection. Though with some gnarly planets in the mix, which includes angry Mars in Aries somber Saturn in Capricorn and power-hungry Pluto in Capricorn, we can also expect to flex our need for healthy boundaries and community support.

June 2020 Horoscopes

June begins with a game-changing Lunar Eclipse in philosophical and adventurous Sagittarius (June 5), which pushes us to let go of outdated or counterproductive beliefs, thinking, and habits (especially where love and relationships are concerned). This eclipse will also demand that we improve our fact-checking abilities, and focus on small, incremental goal setting.

Fact-checking and keeping things simple will be particularly important when communicative Mercury goes retrograde in intuitive Cancer on the 18th. As Mercury retrograde periods are better for tying up loose ends rather than beginning new projects, Mercury retrograde in Cancer will also make it difficult to remain objective; making it a better time for sorting out emotional entanglements or matters relating to home and family finances.

By the 20th, the summer officially kicks off, bringing Cancer season along with it, putting the focus on our emotional security and nourishment, especially with the Solar Eclipse in Cancer on June 21. Under this eclipse we can expect emotions to be running high, making self-care and tenderness important. Additionally, this eclipse will push us to focus on things that bring internal reward rather than external.

May 2020 Horoscopes

The month opens with a Full Moon in powerful and passionate Scorpio (May 7), which pushes us to focus on our healing, acts of selflessness, and re-imagining the workplace. With hardworking Saturn going retrograde on May 11 and Mars moving to Pisces on the 13th, we can expect little emphasis on productivity and more emphasis on reevaluating our commitments to others and getting the rest we need.

Our values and relationships also come up for a review as Venus goes retrograde on the 13th in communicative and curious Gemini. With Mercury moving home to Gemini on the 11th, there will be lots of chatter in the air, particularly when it comes to addressing issues within our partnerships and connections.Meanwhile, on May 14, bountiful Jupiter goes retrograde in no-nonsense Capricorn, which asks us to look before we leap and conserve what we have. On the 20th, the Sun enters Gemini, bringing the attention to how we think, the information we're sharing and consuming, and the importance of staying flexible.

The New Moon in Gemini on May 22, provides us with some ideas on how we can best move forward, but we'll need to be willing to face some hard truths and make some dramatic changes to do so. With communicative Mercury entering tenderhearted Cancer on the 28th, intuition becomes our superpower.

April 2020 Horoscopes

April is shaping up to be quite an action-packed month thanks to love planet Venus entering bubbly and communicative Gemini on April 3, an intense Full Moon in partnership-oriented Libra on April 7, and chatty Mercury moving into fiery Aries on April 11. As a result, we can expect the first half of the month to be largely focused on maintaining and balancing the connections we share with others.

Come April 19, Taurus season officially kicks off as the confident Sun leaves go-getter Aries for pleasure and value-driven Taurus. For those of us that could use some extra pampering and care, Taurus season encourages us to seek comfort where we can, whether it's through art, a homemade meal, or a moisturizing sheet mask.

Still there could be some frustration in the air under a difficult New Moon in Taurus on April 22. We might experience some irritation in getting what we want or see a heightened uproar around sustainability and inequality. The new moon continues this month's theme by pushing us to double-check our priorities and come up with new approaches in getting what we want, while making sure there's enough to go around.

With power-hungry Pluto going retrograde in Capricorn on April 25, we'll definitely be called to dive deep and confront things we might want to avoid. Luckily, with chatty Mercury entering Taurus on the 27th, we can make some practical decisions and find some hands-on solutions along the way.

If last month felt like a roller-coaster, the first half of March gives us time to chill as charming Venus enters sensual Taurus on Mar. 4, inviting us to slow down and find pleasure in the everyday. Since chatty Mercury will be dipping back into unconventional Aquarius on that same day as well, which could make the vibe a bit frantic, Venus in Taurus will help smooth things out.

Come Mar. 9, Mercury retrograde comes to a close. On the same day, the Full Moon in health-conscious Virgo pushes us to engage activities that help with relieving stress and breaking unhealthy habits. On the 16th, Mercury re-enters dreamy Pisces, helping us calm our minds and close out anything that may have been left up in the air during Mercury retrograde.

Though love planet Venus will be moving into feisty and adventurous Aries on Feb. 7, giving us the need for speed, excitement, and sexy times, communicative Mercury is going retrograde this month in imaginative Pisces (Feb. 16 - Mar. 9), making it necessary to slow down and take a cautious approach.

This month, we’re not only called to get curious about the world around us by connecting with others and pursuing experiences that stimulate our minds, we’re called to do it with heart, especially as chatty Mercury spends time in tenderhearted Cancer (beginning June 4) and passionate Leo (beginning June 26). One reason for this comes courtesy of the New Moon in communicative Gemini on June 3, followed by love planet Venus entering Gemini on June 8. With the help of the New Moon and Venus in Gemini, we should find ourselves eager to learn, try new things, and make new friends along the way.

Though with chatty Mercury entering tenderhearted Cancer on June 4, followed by Cancer season kicking off on June 21, we’re called to make our connections, conversations, and actions count. And with the Full Moon in Sagittarius on June 17, the message of the month is clear—if it doesn’t contribute to our growth or make a meaningful contribution, it’s time to let it go. Wherever we may have been overly optimistic or avoiding seeing things as they are, we can look to dreamy Neptune in compassionate Pisces beginning its five month retrograde on the 21st to help clear away the fog.
