Recently, while listening to Jill Scott's track "Quick" from her album The Light of The Sun; a two-minute synopsis on the brief but potent relationship with her son's father, I got to thinking whether there was a strong Venus-Uranus link between the two of them. When our love planet Venus syncs up with planet Uranus in another's chart--the results are instant, electric.
Respectively, Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius and if you've ever known a Uranus-influenced person you know they are never good at following the rules and are always, always looking for ways to upset the status quo. Uranus' job is to shock us, to wake us up from our lull and because its energy is so unstable you never know just how this will transpire. All we will know is that somehow we've got to get free.
So when you take such an explosive energy as with Uranus and couple it up with a love planet like Venus (or Mars), the two people involved will usually experience an almost magnetic attraction (or repulsion depending on the energy of persons involved). However, due to the level of instability that Uranus brings to a union, the Venus person may become frustrated with the fickleness of the Uranus person or the Uranus person may find him or herself bored with Venus. The relationship normally ends as quick as it started. That's the downside. The upside though, would be if both parties were able to harness Uranus' energy to bring a level of excitement and freshness to the union; a couple that gets off on doing their own thing. Hollywood couple Helena Bonham Carter and her husband Tim Burton are kind of an example of this--they really have a Uranian quality to their relationship that seems to work for them.
In any case, given how candid Jill has been about her relationship with her ex-fiance it would be interesting to see if my theory holds true. Does anyone have the scoop on their charts? LOL.
